In 2002, Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Pratt House was transformed from a dilapidated city school into an affordable community of Baltimore apartments for homeless families with two or more children.
Pratt House offers two and three bedroom Baltimore apartments. Pratt is a 35 apartment transitional housing community—complete with an outdoor playground, activities room and learning center. Residents receive Support services including case management, mental health screening and referrals to health care, substance abuse treatment, adult education and job training as needed.
